Login


You can use the Ara SaaS application from the Ara SaaS website.

 

On the Ara SaaS homepage, you can choose a language, login to the application, view the product page or contact customer support.

Ara supports a maximum duration of one hour without user session activity. After this interval has passed, you must log back into the application.

The user must confirm his action when he disconnects from the application.

Password reset procedure


You can perform a password reset.

 

You will need to provide the email associated with your Ara account. If the specified email is not found, you will be notified.

 

The user whose password needs to be reset receives the following email:

 

When you follow the reset link, you are presented with an interface to enter and confirm a new password.

 

Organization


Viewing the list of users


The consultation of the users of the organization is accessible in the main menu.

 

For each user, his full name, email, profile, and account status are displayed.

 

Users can be filtered by :

  • their full name or email

  • their profile

  • their account status

Each user has a set of permissions that govern the actions that can or cannot be taken within Ara

There are 3 predefined profiles:

  • Administrator: including all the permissions, in particular the modification of information and permissions of the users of the organization

  • Editor: including all standard permissions to manage referential in Ara.

  • Viewer: allowing the consultation of the application, without the possibility to edit the data

The user profiles can have the following states:

  • Invited

  • Pending (for confirmation)

  • Confirmed

  • Locked

For each user, it is possible to view the details of another user's account. By clicking on a user in the list, a form with general information will be opened.

 

Invite a new user


If you are authorized, you can invite a new user to your organization, by pressing the "Invite a new user" button and indicating :

  • the user’s name

  • his email

  • his profile

 

The password is not defined at this stage. The invited user receives an invitation by email.

For the newly created user account, the status is "Invited". As long as the account is in the "Invited" state, an authorized user can send an invitation to the guest user. Once activated, the account changes to "Confirmed".

Editing a user


If you are authorized, you can edit the profile of other users in your organization.

 

The following information can be changed:

  • The user's name

  • Profile (if editable)

The email address cannot be modified.

Blocking and unblocking a user


If you are authorized, you can block the account of another user in your organization.

 

When the action is selected, a confirmation request must be validated.

The blocked user still appears in the organization's user lists, but with a status of "Locked". A blocked user can no longer access the Ara interfaces. If they try to log in when their account has been disabled, the interface returns the following message:

"Your account has been disabled. Please contact your organization's administrators for more information.

Upon blocking, if the user is logged in to the platform, they will be automatically logged out.

If you are authorized, you can unblock a blocked account. When the action is selected, a confirmation request must be validated.
