Chouette Valid is an operational tool SaaS tool designed for data quality. It allows to control and validate NeTEx datasets according to your own set of rules. These rules can be based on:

  • Any national or relevant profile, 

  • Specific requirements tailored to your data flow

Rules can be defined:

  • Via the User Interface or API (JSON)

  • With the support of enRoute team

Chouette Valid - Key features

In a nutshell, Chouette Valid

  • Ensure compliance with a standard / data format / file format

  • Ensure compliance with naming conventions, national/local rules, etc.

  • Automated tests on some data content (e.g., mandatory attributes are filled in)

  • Flag when a dataset has not been updated for a while

But, it does not:

  • Ensure compliance with the reality (e.g., is the bus stop at the same location as defined in the dataset?)

  • Enrich data with information it does not have (e.g., adding accessibility details for a certain stop)

  • Complex tests on data (e.g., travel time between 2 stops)
