Broadcast real-time data in SIRI to transport.data.gouv.fr

Following discussions between the enRoute and transport.data.gouv.fr teams, an automated process for broadcasting open data in SIRI has been set up.

In Ara, you simply create a dedicated Exchange Partner that:

  • broadcasts the real-time offer via SIRI services in request mode:

    • SIRI CheckStatus Server

    • SIRI StopMonitoring Request Broadcaster

    • SIRI EstimatedTimetable Request Broadcaster

    • SIRI VehicleMonitoring Request Broadcaster

    • SIRI StopPointsDiscovery Request Broadcaster

    • SIRI LinesDiscovery Request Broadcaster

  • uses a shared, predefined credential: open-data

  • enforces a service level limited to 100 requests per minute per client IP address

There is therefore no credential / RequestorRef to send to the transport.data.gouv.fr team. You simply need to let their team know that a new feed is available for open data through our Ara SaaS solution.

If you want to use the same Exchange Partner for third-party entities, you will need to give them the local credential so they can authenticate with a RequestorRef.

All exchanges made by this Exchange Partner can be monitored via the Ara user interface.

For information, the open-data SIRI feed is already available for Bibus, thanks to joint work with RATP Dev and the Brest teams.
