Processing rules
Description
The use of Processing Rules in Chouette allows you to automatically execute a control list and/or instruction list on one of the main stages of data management. This means that users can use Processing Rules to automate the process of improving their data instead of having to edit it manually.
Processing Rules can be defined for a workbench by the administrator, and at the Workgroup level for the desired organizations.
Consult the workbench processing rules
You can consult your organization's processing rules in the “Workbench” block.
You can access the list of processing rules defined in your Workspace.
For each processing rule: the step, processing type, and processing are displayed.
Managing processing rules
For each processing rule, a cogwheel allows you to launch the available actions:
display this processing rule
edit this processing rule
delete this processing rule (with confirmation)
To create a new processing rule, click on the “Create a processing rule” button and select the desired step and action from the available list.
Once the processing rule has been successfully created, it will automatically apply to the dedicated workbench.
When you are the administrator of a Workgroup that has multiple organizations, you can create processing rules to automatically apply control lists to other organizations.
This feature is accessible from the “Workgroup” block.
Creating a processing rule for a Workgroup follows the same principle as for a Workbench.
